videokunst/kortfilm (video art/short film), Landmark, Bergen Kunsthall, Bergen, Norway. November 2002.
Co-curated with Morten Kvamme and financially supported by Bergen Kunsthall.

Location: Landmark, Bergen kunsthall. Showroom/bar for new media and cross-genre art.
Co-curated with in-house-curator Morten Kvamme.
Funding: Bergen Kunsthall
Based on my theoretical investigations during my MA in the narrative in video art I wanted to address this issue in a more practical way and together with Morten Kvamme I put together a three night program with experimental video art, experimental short films, traditional short film and anything in between to outline the influences and transgressions in contemporary moving images. Because of the (almost) impulsive initiative, we were forced to keep the budget to a minimum, and the artists/film makers included were very generous to grant us one free screening of their work.
The artists/film makers were:
Apecosmonautene (Norway), Per Teljer (Sweden), Michael Brundtup (Germany), Joern Utkilen (UK), Lars Marøy (Norway), Jannicke Låker (Norway), Marius Mørch (Norway), Siri Ekker Svendsen (Norway), Sean Reyard (Canada), Sølvi A Lindseth (Norway), Jan Freuchen (Norway), Sven Nydal (Norway), Endre Aalrust (Norway), Anu Lehtonen (Finland), Sixten Therkelsen (Denmark), Silje Heggren (Norway), Mattial Härenstam (Sweden), Geir Greni (Norway), Sean Garrety (Canada), Ole Mads Vevle (Norway), Anne F. Færesrand (Norway), Gabriella Carlsson (Sweden)
| Press release in Norwegian: Onsdag 27. – fredag 29. november 2002. Press release in English: Wednesday 27th-Friday 29th November 2002 Video art / short film Video art does not communicate ideas on art anymore, but seeks to tell us about a condition or theme. This focus on telling a story has left traces, and the last years the narrative has been welcomed into the art world. At the same time the non-narrative is widely used in short film. Thus the two art forms, video art and short film, are slowly merging into each other and start to communicate in a different way than before. Participating artists: De som vises er:
